UNICEF Zimbabwe has issued a warning about a scam aimed at local travel companies and the organisation itself that involves mailing counterfeit or fraudulent tickets for ticket processing.
Some agencies had already received these fraudulent tickets for ticket processing.
However these are fake as UNICEF has not engaged in such action nor asked prospective suppliers to process the tickets.
UNICEF urged people and the travel agencies to verify with the organisation first before asking and taking action on the said tickets.
“Stay vigilant and protect against scams,” said the organisation.
