The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has denied online reports that the company is running a promotion for consumers and giving away free units.
This follows an advert which has been circulating on social media purporting that ZETDC is giving away units worth ZWL$275 for three months.

An official from ZESA, Alaina Siluwa dismissed the claim as fake in an interview with CITE.
“The advert is not true. The company is not running any such promotion,” Siluwa said.
