Claim: An online message claimed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa is giving supporters 40 GB of free data as part of his birthday celebrations.
“The Mnangagwa organisation partners with all network providers Offering 40 GB of free data and a 300 ZWD Airtime voucher to its supporters to celebrate this birthday online,” read the claim.
The claim went on to provide links for different networks.

It showed that the registrant of the link is NameSilo, LLC and the links were registered on 22 December 2023. The links were however updated on 17 February 2024 and will expire on 22 December 2024.
The registrant registered the link under Privacy Guardian.org IIc and the originator of the link is based in United States.
